Bulk Void for Xero is a Chrome extension that voids Awaiting Payment sales invoices in Xero, in your own browser. This page explains what it reads, where that data goes, and what it never does.

What the extension reads

The extension only runs on Xero pages at go.xero.com: the sales invoice list and the invoice view page. On those pages it reads the invoices you select: invoice number, invoice ID, reference, contact name, dates, paid amount and amount due. It needs this to show you the dry run, make the backup and do the void you confirmed.

Where your data goes

• Backup and report files are created in your browser and saved to your computer's Downloads folder. They are not uploaded anywhere.
• The state of a run (which invoices are in the batch and which are done) is kept in Chrome's local extension storage until you close the report.
• Your licence key, if you add one, is stored in Chrome's extension storage and sent to our payment provider, Polar (polar.sh), to activate it and to check that it is still valid. A licence works in one Xero organisation, so the extension also sends that organisation's short ID from the Xero web address and its name, and Polar stores them with the activation. To move a licence to another organisation, write to [email protected].

Bulk Void has no server of its own. Your invoice data is never sent to us or to anyone else.

What the extension never does

• It doesn't connect to the Xero API or ask for access to your Xero account.
• It doesn't collect analytics, track your browsing or use cookies.
• It doesn't sell, share or transfer your data.
• It doesn't act on any invoice until you have saved a backup, checked the dry run and typed the count to confirm.

This website

bulkvoid.app has no analytics and sets no cookies. The early access form is a Google Form; what you enter there is handled by Google under Google's privacy policy and used only to email you about Bulk Void. To be removed from the list, email us.

Payments

When you buy a licence, Polar acts as the seller and handles payment, tax and invoicing under Polar's privacy policy. We receive your email address and order details from Polar so we can send and support your licence.
